Who is organising the 10k and 5k run?
The 10k run is being organised by the Parent Teacher Association of Maynooth Education Campus (MEC PTA). This PTA is a joint body incorporating the former PTAs of Maynooth Post Primary and Maynooth Community College. This is an annual event and the committee expects to build on their experience from previous events to make this one even better than last years. The event is a fund-raiser for a new Multi-Use Games Area to be located on the new school Campus and for the upkeep of the existing playing fields shared with Maynooth GAA at Mariaville on the Moyglare Road.
